The need to study origami emerged as a strategy for text production in contemporary architecture. Where the origami strategy is defined as "a strategy to produce an origami text with distinctive design patterns inspired by different references, by means of mechanisms and techniques and according to specific characteristics. The aim of the research is to build an integrated theoretical framework describing the origami as a strategy for producing the architectural text in general and patterns of formatting the shape in light of this strategy in particular.
