Abstract

Many studies referred to the importance of lighting in interior spaces. Some studies pointed to the aesthetic values of interior lighting without present the approach to build these values, The current investigation aims to explore the principles of aesthetics trace building of lighting in art galleries. The research hypothesized the influence of aesthetic trace building by structural and meaningful bases of lighting in art galleries.To tackle research problem, hypothetical model was built represented by lighting, aesthetic trace, and are galleries indicators, The semi experimental research has depended on survey descriptive method, (12) art galleries by (4) lighting types were chosen to build research setting. (25) Architecture students were chosen as respondents. Data were gathered through (4) survey phases that took (3) months. T-test was used as statistical method by spss program.
